Watching Tom and Alison interact is so much fun.   It is so incredibly obvious that they aren't afraid to enjoy life and to find the little things worth celebrating.  Their wedding was nothing short of a fun celebration, all of which took place in Marietta Square.   The ceremony was a gathering of the bride and groom's closest friends and family, at least those that could make the trip from Illinois, which is where Tom and Alison met... and where the newlyweds call home!   It was held in the Earl Smith Strand Theatre, a beautifully restored 1935 Art Deco theatre.  The reception followed at the Marietta-Cobb Museum of Art and was possibly my favorite part.  It's not every day you are allowed to bring a camera into an art gallery, much less food!

The groomsmen's gift.

Alison and Tom are both graphic designers, so the programs and invitations had a good bit of thought put into them.  I wish I had an invitation to share: they looked like movie tickets! So creative!!

Below is my favorite shot of the day.

A friend of theirs made all of the cupcakes.  The room smelled like chocolate!

The guestbook.

These folks know how to party (especially when photo booth props are involved) The bride's father (far left) was possibly my favorite!

In case you haven't been formally introduced to my assistant and photografriend yet.... meet Jess.  She's been a HUGE gift to me.  She's a road warrior for one.  Not many folks can handle that much time away from home, staring at white and yellow lines and eating enough Chick-Fil-A for ten people. [No joke: We created the "52 Chicken Nugget Challenge", successfully lived up to the challenge, and then decided we should cut back.  We now opt for gatorade and sandwiches... and of course, a little CFA for each of us.]  Jess is the woman behind so much of what you see in that she not only shoots and now edits, but she keeps me going, helps me make many different decisions daily, and ensures that I stay in one piece.  She's a gift from the Lord and I am incredibly thankful she's willing to share so many of these adventures with me!
