Yeah, you read it right, she's now Mrs. Turnipseed!  But what a fun crew to belong to!  When we met Ben and Laura in the spring to do their engagement photos, we had no idea what to expect from their wedding...but these folks know how to throw a party!   Their ceremony was in a flat out GORGEOUS church -- possibly one of the prettiest I've ever seen -- on St. Simons Island, and island off the coast of Georgia.  Their reception followed at Ocean Forest Golf Club on the coast of Sea Island with a killer band and a stunning view.

The uncontrollable smiles captured during first looks are some of my favorites!

Such a classy couple.

Check out their sneak peek photos HERE.

I don't know if I've ever seen a bride who could work a reception stage like Laura.  Ben, you've got an incredibly fun wife!

Ben & Laura's leave was one of my new favorites.  When I arrived at the reception, I did like I always do and asked the coordinator to give me the rundown so I could make sure to be prepared for each thing.  She rattled off the usual "...first dance, cake cutting, garter/bouquet toss..." and then I did my best to piece together the other things she mentioned: trumpet player, glow-in-the-dark balloons, remote controlled sparkers, golf cart on the beach.  "Huh?" is all I could think. I wasn't sure what was going to happen, I just knew we needed to be ready.

A few hours into a dance floor full of folks gettin' down to a full band, a trumpet player joined them on the floor and began playing "When the Saints Go Marching In" with the band.  As they kept playing, the trumpet player led the bride & groom and their guests away from the golf club and toward the beach along a path lit by glow-in-the-dark balloons.  When they got to the beach the guests formed a line and threw "Turnipseeds" at the couple as the groom carried the bride to their get-away golf cart.  The best part was that as the golf cart drove away, remote-controlled sparkers lit up one-by-one when the golf cart reached them.  It was absolutely beautiful.  Not to mention, this was the night after the Blue Moon, so the beach was beautifully lit by the sky.  We couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous night!

Ben & Laura - Thank you for letting Jess and I tell your story.  We had an absolute blast and we loved getting to celebrate with you!
