Luci is a woman wise beyond her years.  She's highly involved in a million different things, but I could quickly tell that much of that is due to the fact that she has an impecable understanding of the life that is to be absorbed from all the many things around her.  To just be a high school senior, Luci is overflowing with a worldview that I wish I had at her age.

As we drove from location to location looking for fun textured backgrounds, we got to spend some time talking and sharing about things we were interested in, from music to hobbies to potential career ideas.  As I listened to her I began to realize one unique characteristic about Luci: she's a question asker.  No wonder she is knowledgeable about so many different things at her stage in life.  She's obviously very inquisitive and she hasn't just sat on it... she's done something with it, and she's better because of it.

When I grow up I want to be more like Luci.  I want to be a person who sees life all around her and reaches out for it. I want to ask questions more often and listen to answers more carefully.  Luci loved me well in our time together because what she gave me was the gift of validation.  In listening, she let me know that my voice has value.  Even as a high school senior, Luci has learned to give such a gift.

The show below is one of my favorites from our session.

Luci, congrats on graduation!  I can't wait to see what you do with your one, wild life.  Thankful for our newfound friendship!
